LOUIS Langdown banked his first point as AFC Totton boss this evening.

The new manager's second game in charge ended in a solid 0-0 draw at Larkhall Athletic in the Southern One South & West.

Totton had their chances with the fit-again Dylan Knight having a shot cleared off the line, Dan Munday and Nick Watts firing wide and sub Charlie Gunson forcing a good save from the goalkeeper.

With visiting keeper Charlie Searle also making a couple of quality stops, the  clean sheet was satisfying for the third-to-bottom Stags against a Larks side who had taken Shortwood apart 5-0 on Saturday.

And it was certainly a vast improvement on the sorry events of August 16 when Larkhall inflicted a 6-1 defeat on Totton at the Testwood Stadium.

Totton's challenge now will be to keep up the good work at league leaders Hereford on Saturday.

Langdown handed debuts tonight to new work experience signings Connor York and Ben Cooper from AFC Bournemouth.
