SYDENHAMS One leaders Hamble Club suffered only their fourth defeat of the season at Downton.
Shaun Prentice did the damage, scoring both goals in a 2-0 Robins win.
With six games to play, Hamble are five points clear of chasing Baffins Milton Rovers with a game in hand.
The top two are both in action on Wednesday with Hamble hosting Pewsey Vale while Baffins visit Andover New Street.
Third-placed Shaftesbury ran out 6-2 winners at Folland Sports, spearheaded by braces from Danny Finnigan and Lee Gale. James Franklyn and sub Harry Osman scored for the Planemakers.
AFC Stoneham emerged 2-0 winners at Hythe & Dibden courtesy of Sergio Caballero and an Ash Ledger penalty. The Purples are sixth.
