Dynamo School of Gymnastics are celebrating impressive results for their boys squad at the Southern Region qualifier in Milton Keynes.

Coaches Nathan Kitcher, Anthony Munday, Carol Munday and Jenny Archer accompanied the team as they attempted to reach the national finals in Birmingham.

In the Pre Level 1 U8, the first year of competitive gymnastics, Jude Routledge came first with an all around score of 58.95. Daniel Jenner was 10th (50.80).

In the Level 1 Club Category, Brandon Lynch won with 65.55 - earning him a place in the Southern Region team for the national finals.

Lynch also won the Jim Newell Memorial Trophy, awarded to the highest scoring gymnast of the day.

Lucas Jones was 13th place with 50.70.

In the Level 2 club competition, Artem Nugmanov qualified for the nationals with a fifth place finish (60.25). Tom Harrison was seventh (59.30) and Ethan Jackson Lowe ninth (58.90). The latter also won on floor (9.60) and vault (9.75). Joshua Coomer was 11th (57.35).

In Level 3 club competition, Joe Wilson was fourth overall (59.80) to book a place on the regional team.

Ashley Hassett was sixth (57.70) and won the bronze on pommel horse (9.60). Samuel Mould was ninth (57.00), Joe Lewis Back 11th (55.55), 13th Oliver Houkes (53.85), 14th Kian Andrews (52.45) and Rory Tidmus 15th (51.80). In the Level 4 Competition, Isaac Beattie-Edwards was fifth (54.65) to qualify for the nationals. Ben Fyvie-Rae was eighth (50.20).

In the Level 5 competition - featuring Dynamo’s most senior gymnasts - Callum Archer was silver (62.45). There were no individual awards in this category but Archer claimed top three finishes on every apparatus.

Hughes was fourth (56.40) and will join Archer at the national finals in November. Wesley Wong was seventh (41.10).
