BUSH Hill Reseves suffered penalty shootout heartbreak in the semi-finals of the Hampshire FA Intermediate Cup.
The boys from Millbrook led by a 20th-minute Perry Coombes goal heading into the closing stages against Paulsgrove.
But, gallingly, Tom Woodward pulled the Portsmouth outfit level with seven minutes remaining and Paulsgrove went on to edge the shootout 4-3.
It sets up a final against Liphook United on Friday, May 4.
In the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division, Locks Heath moved back to the top with a 2-1 win over Winchester Castle – Charlie Cooper bagging the winner.
Locks, though have played several games more than their rivals – one of whom, Infinity, beat Liss Athletic 4-0 through Gary Fitzhorswell (2), Danny Phillips and Jamie White
