PROMOTED Sydenhams Premier Division champions Blackfield & Langley have lost the services of cultured midfielder Franklyn Clarke.
The experienced play-maker has agreed terms on a one-year deal with Poole Town, newly relegated from the National League South.
Clarke, who had a brief spell in the pro ranks with York City in 2016/17, was a key cog in the Blackfield machine as they reeled in long-time leaders Andover Town to take the Wessex title.
The 25-year-old, who also lists Wimborne Town, Dorchester Town and Salisbury among his former clubs, was in his second spell with Blackfield.
The Watersiders, meanwhile, will visit neighbours Hythe & Dibden for a pre-season friendly on Wednesday, July 25 (7pm).
