The rest of the quarter was fairly even. After Ben Aldridge scored on the buzzer the Royals lead 26-15.

The 2nd quarter was more of a battle as both sides found their path to the basket blocked by scrambling defences. The Royals kept themselves in front ending the half with a 38-28 lead.

Sean Mulhern put on an offensive display n the 3rd quarter, where he scored 12 of his 27 points. Ash Briggs also dominated inside, and halfway through the final quarter, the Royals opened up a big 75-52 lead.

Bracknell did not quit though and took full advantage of the Royals' defence stepping off their shooters. 6 threes helped the Cobras narrow the final deficit, but not by enough to affect the result. Winchester came away with a comfortable 83-72 win to keep their charge to the top of National League Division 3 going.
