ROMSEY Colts’ first ever Hampshire Plate final ended in triumph on Sunday as they beat Ellingham and Ringwood by 22 points to three.
The Colts Academy consists of 32 players from U17s and U18s had won ten of the 12 matches they’ve played since September.
In the Hampshire Cup competition they were knocked out in the first round by Havant in a close match meaning a place in the the Hampshire Plate where they knocked out Portsmouth in the quarter finals and Trojans at the semi-final stage to qualify to face Ellingham & Ringwood in the final.
