Saints legends take on the old enemy

FORMER Saints take on ex-Pompey stars in a charity match at Locks Heath Recreation Ground this Sunday (1.30pm).

Dave Beasant, Paul Jones, Jason Dodd, Francis Benali, Gordon Watson, Rod Wallace, Reuben Agboola and Graham Baker are all expected to pull on a Saints shirt again.

Winchester City boss Guy Butters, Alan Knight, Linvoy Primus, ex-Cherries manager Lee Bradbury, Joe Laidlaw and Keith Viney are among the ex-Pompey players.

This game is being held in aid of the Locks Heath Free Church’s Community Building Fund and will feature a BBQ, bouncy castle, face painting, penalty shoot-out competition, football speed kick challenge, bar, refreshments, raffle and an auction with football memorabilia.

Programme donation at the gate: £5 Family, £3 Adults, and £2 Under 16s. Entry via Hunts Pond Road or Warsash Road.
