Former Hampshire batsman Michael Lumb put Nottinghamshire in command against Durham with a century on his championship debut for the club.
Lumb, whose last championship ton came against Durham two years ago, was 104 not out at the close - Notts enjoying a lead of 263 with six second innings wickets remaining.
