Stags in scramble for play-off spot

AFC Totton face a nail-biting final game at home to Bedford Town this Saturday after defeat at Stourbridge set up a five-way battle for the four play-off spots.

Victory at the War Memorial Ground would have guaranteed Stuart Ritchie’s Stags a top-five finish and crushed the sixth-placed Glassboys’ hopes of gate-crashing the promotion party.

But Totton lost 2-1, leaving themselves and Stourbridge among four teams locked on 71 points behind second-placed Chesham on 73.
