Dear Sir, As predicted the bus lane at Abbotswood is not being treated as such.

No sooner than the barriers were taken away the cars started using it as a normal road.

When the proposal for this bus route was put forward the objection was that it would be used by cars, lorries etc.

Since the blockades have been taken away it has been used as a normal road DESPITE the road signs as predicted.

Woodley Lane has become dangerous, not just because of this road but with school traffic parking on the hill and bend, and the wooden fluorescent warning signs on the traffic calming broken.

It is an accident waiting to happen.

There is one just above the new bus lane causing more hazards.

It would help if the fluorescent warnings were on concrete bollards at least people may think twice before speeding as they do.
