BODEN Sonya Heather (née Stallard) Finally, at rest on the 1st January 2019 after many years suffering from Cancer. Inspiringly courageous and with a strength of character which enabled her to bear the side effects without complaint. Such a beautiful lady, both inside and out who was very special to her husband, her relatives and her many friends, both here and abroad. Sonya will be greatly missed. With grateful thanks to all the nursing staff and consultants at Head and Neck Oncology, also Ward F5 and especially the Macmillan specialist nurses' team at the University Hospital Southampton and the nurses at the Countess Mountbatten Hospice. A Service of Thanksgiving for Sonya's life, will be held at the Romsey Baptist Church, Bell Street, SO51 8GW at 3.30pm on Wednesday the 16th January 2019. At Sonya's request no black ties, colours welcome. No flowers please, but donations in memory of Sonya in aid of the Romsey Cancer Support Centre would be very welcome, either in the collection box in the vestibule or direct to Jane Scarth House, 37a The Hundred, Romsey, SO51 5RG.
