GENTLE Anthony James 'Tony' (former Mayor of Test Valley) Sadly passed away in Southampton General Hospital on Saturday 14th December 2019, aged 78 years. Beloved husband to Rita and a much loved father and grandfather. His funeral service will be held in St Margaret's Church, Wellow on Thursday 9th January 2020 at 1pm. Family flowers only please, but donations if desired for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance may be sent c/o A H Cheater Funeral Directors, 122 The Hundred, Romsey, SO51 8BY. Tel: 01794 513393

Dear Rita and family our thoughts and love are with you all. It maybe a long time ago now but we have lasting fond and fun memories of Tony when our boys were growing up together playing football going to school in Wellow and then Romsey. Tony was a real Wellow man eventually becoming Mayor, wonderful.
Will be thinking of you all on Thursday 9 January love and hugs John and Sue Hobbs
