IT IS the Eastleigh school encouraging its students to "reach for the stars".
The Crescent Primary School on Toynbee Road encourage students to express themselves through music, sport and reading.
The school now teaches children from reception to year 6 and awarded a "Good" rating from Ofsted last year.
Head Teacher Sarah Ahmed described the school and the community that surrounds it as "happy and close".
She said: "The Crescent Primary School has grown from a two-form entry school to a three-form entry school over the last five years, whilst maintaining a happy and close community with an ethos of nurture and support.
"We are pleased with our recent Ofsted judgement and our progress scores and pupil attainment, as shown in the Primary School Performance Tables.
"However, all staff at The Crescent are "learning for life" and are always striving to improve even further.
"We continually reflect on our teaching practice and have a strong coaching and training culture across the school.
"Working within the Anton Andover Alliance, we train our own teachers through School Centred Initial Teacher training and provide our own leadership training for staff as they progress in their career."
The school saw a multi-million pound expansion in 2015 in order to allow the school to increase from a two-form to a three-form entry, which has created an extra 210 places.
The school is expected to have reach full capacity by September this year, with a total of 630 pupils.

We are passionate about providing children with high quality feedback to ensure that children know their next steps in their learning.
We believe feedback is the ‘rocket fuel’ to outstanding learning and achievement.
We have a committed and talented staff team, who have high expectations for all of our children, and in turn we have happy and motivated pupils.
I am incredibly proud to lead The Crescent Primary School and know that our children, parents and governors feel proud of our many achievements too.
