AN EASTLEIGH school has issued a safety warning to parents after a man was seen "exposing himself" to members of the public.

Between 3pm and 4pm on Wednesday January 29, the man was reportedly seen exposing himself to the public around the Fleming Park site, while wearing a hi-vis jacket.

Now Crestwood Community School has issued a warning to make sure children "take extra care" when walking to and from school.

In a letter to parents, headteacher Krista Dawkins said: "We have been made aware of a man hanging around the Fleming Park (Places Leisure) site between 3pm and 4pm.

"Please make your children aware if they walk that way and ask them to take extra care, not walk alone if possible and report anything inappropriate to their parents and the school."

The Daily Echo has contacted Hampshire Police for more information and they are yet to respond.

More to follow.
