A CITY school has been forced to close due to electrical issues.
St Mark's C of E Primary School in Southampton has asked parents to collect their children.
All pupils are said to be safe but for health and safety reasons, they are unable to stay open.
The phones at the school have also gone off in relation to the issues.
A statement to parents on Facebook by Headteacher, Stephanie Bryant, said: "Due to electrical issues we having to close the school with immediate effect.
"Please rest assured all pupils are safe, however we need to close for health and safety reasons.
"Please collect your children by coming through the front gates, but be mindful of social distancing."
