Owners Comment

“Providence Cottage has been our much loved home for nearly forty years. In 1984 we rescued the Grade II listed 14th century cruck frame barn from almost certain collapse creating a garage, workshop and studio flat while keeping as many of the old beams as possible.”

“The cottage, also listed, has been lovingly maintained and sensitively improved. The beautiful garden is known as one of the joys of this friendly hamlet. Now is the time to pass the custodianship to new owners, the next in the long line of families who have lived here for six centuries, who we know will cherish living here as much as we have.”

The Barn
