THE cast of Winchester Musical Operatic Society's upcoming show visited The Black Boy to begin promotion.

Jekyll and Hyde, based on the novel by Robert Louis Stevenson, will be performed in aid of Winchester Hospice in November.

It is the gothic tale of a young scientist Henry Jekyll, who in trying to rid the world of evil accidentally creates an alter ego in the murderous Edward Hyde.

Taking the challenging role of Jekyll and Hyde is Matt McGrath.

Molly Moffitt is to play Lucy Harris, the girl from the gutter Jekyll befriends and Hyde lusts for, as well as other members of the cast.

At the pub, they were joined by Ewan McMorris, owner of Portcullis Construction and St Cross Kitchens who are sponsoring the show.

Jekyll and Hyde will be performed from November 6 to November 9 at Theatre Royal Winchester.
