IT WAS the perfect recipe for success – fabulous food, sunshine and hordes of people enjoying what was on offer.
The Romsey Food Fest proved a huge hit yesterday as crowds packed The Hundred and Latimer Street to see the oodles of tempting tasty treats available.
There were more than 75 stalls to browse, including the Bug Shack, which was offering its customers a rather unusual snack – insects.
Southampton North and Romsey MP Caroline Nokes was one of many people who popped into town to see what goodies they could bag.
While the adults checked out what foodie faves to buy, the youngsters were kept thoroughly entertained with a mobile farm from Kidsrome, a circus act and face painting.
There was also a demonstration by Taoist Tai Chi Arts of Romsey, as well as some light music and cake decorating and crafts.
