SIR – So much time, money and inconvenience has gone into the work being done in Church St, Bell street, and soon on Market Place, that those running these projects seem to have over looked one area that does need urgent attention, and I refer to the paved area at the side of Boots and in front of McColls.
If some one was to take the time to look at this area they will find broken slabs, loose slabs, and a lot of uneven slabs that make up this area.
This area is totally unsafe for many people using this area, and is a particular hazard to the elderly and does using walking sticks.
Can some one in the Town Hall or in HCC take the time to view this area, and do something about repairing it before the Council runs out of money.
