POLICE are hunting thieves who stole a large bronze statue of a turkey from a garden.
Wiltshire Police said "unknown offenders" took the statue from the garden of a property in the village of Sherfield English, on the Wiltshire/Hampshire border at around 9.20pm on Friday.
Pc Chloe Stokes appealed for any art dealers or scrap metal merchants who were offered the sculpture to contact the force immediately.
She said: "Also we would like to appeal to anyone in the area on Friday - if you heard or saw anything suspicious please contact us."
