A BELL Street clothing store has been broken into, with police launching a probe to find those responsible.
Regatta, the designer clothing shop, is understood to have closed after offenders gained access between 1.45am and 2am in the morning of July 31.
According to officers, a large quantity of designer clothing has been taken.
It is believed the offenders then made off on a motorbike.
A statement from Hampshire Constabulary said: "In the early hours, persons unknown have gained access to to a clothing business on Bell Street, Romsey, by smashing the front door of the shop.
Offenders have then entered the premises and conducted a very untidy search. A large quantity of designer clothing has been taken."
