THREE teenagers have been charged after four people armed with a hammer threatened staff at the BP Garage in North Baddesley over the weekend.
On September 8 at around 10.20pm, they entered the garage, on Botley Road, and threatened staff and stole cash and cigarettes.
Then, just three hours later, three people also armed with a hammer entered The Bellemoor Tavern on Hill Lane, Southampton, also threatening staff, but left empty handed.
Detectives arrested three people shortly after 2am following the robbery on Hill Lane and on September 10, charged three teenagers with robbery and attempted robbery.
Jordan Peat, 18, of Kingsclere Avenue, Southampton, has been charged with robbery and attempted robbery.
A 15-year-old boy and 16-year-old boy, both from Southampton, have also been charged with the same offences.
