A ROMSEY man has admitted assault and using violence to enter a home having previously denied the charges.
Simon Allan Ewald, of Westering in Romsey, pleaded guilty in court to assault by beating when facing magistrates on September 5.
He also admitted entering a Romsey property by using violence, while knowing there was someone inside who was opposed to him entering.
Having previously denied the offences, Ewald later changed his pleas to guilty, and was made to pay half the costs associated.
Ewald was made the subject of a community order, and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work over the next year.
He was also made to pay £85 victim surcharge and £310 in court costs.
