WALKERS braved the rain to raise money for a good cause.

The adverse weather did not stop the hundreds of residents who took part in this year's Walk the Test Way.

All walkers checked in at the Crosfield Hall in Romsey, before being taken by bus to their starting point.

The event organised by Rotary Club of Romsey Test aimed to raise money for charities.

Caroline Nokes, MP for Romsey and Southampton North and her team also took part in the initiative to raise money in aid of RomDAG, which supports people with dementia.

Daily Echo:

There were five walks to choose from at 5, 8, 11,16 and 25.5 miles and participants were given the chance to walk with their dogs.

Each walker received a medal later in the afternoon after they arrived to Romsey War Memorial Park.
