CHILDREN from a Totton school were eggs-tatic about their Easter holiday homework.
Pupils at Oakfield Primary School were asked to build an ‘eggmobile’ during their break – a miniature vehicle for a boiled egg.
The runaway winner when they raced on April 18, 1997, was a battery-operated eggmobile made by Joseph Judge.
Older brother James came second in the battery-operated section.
Robert Conlin proved victorious in the pushed eggmobiles, while Rebecca Scammell collected the prize for the best looking machine.
