PHOTOGRAPHERS have been recognised for their talent.
Pier from the Prom was the title Mary Gardiner gave to her winning entry in Viewfinders of Romsey Camera Club’s annual Print Panel Trophy competition.
Members submitted entries consisting of three prints to be judged as individual images and also as a set. Judge Ken Woods said the winning monochrome images of Brighton worked well and demonstrated good control of the exposures.
Heath Gough-Holt came second with Ice Artistry, a set of abstract ice images, and Terry Jamieson came third with a set of London street images entitled City.
Terry also received a seal of merit for another image; Stephen Cooper received two seals and further seals were awarded to Julie Darby and Roy Lambeth.
Viewfinders meet most Tuesdays at the Jubilee Hall, New Road, Timsbury and new members, regardless of photographic experience, are welcome. For more information, visit the club’s website at www.viewfinderscameraclub.org.uk or e-mail secretary@viewfinderscc.org.uk.
