A ROMSEY road is set to be closed next year.
Part of Alma Road will be closed from January 3, 2019 at 7 pm to 6am the next day to allow the repair of a manhole cover and frame in the carriageway.
Pedestrian and access to adjoining properties will be available.
The suggested alternative routes are: From the northern point of closure, north on Alma Road/Malmsbury Road/Duttons Road, south on Cherville Street/The Horsefair/Church Street/Market Place, east on The Hundred and north on Alma Road to the southern point of closure. From the southern point of closure south on Alma Road, west on The Hundred, south on Palmerston Street, west on Broadwater Road, north on Bell Street/Market Place/Church Street/The Horsefair/Cherville Street, south on Duttons Road/Malmsbury Road/Alma Road to the northern point of closure.
