A SOUTHAMPTON school will reopen tomorrow after closing due to a sickness outbreak.
Hollybrook Infant School was shut today so a deep clean could be carried out. This came after several staff and students reported falling ill with a “flu-like sickness”.
The school, in Seagarth Lane, Basset, confirmed this afternoon that it would be reopening tomorrow following the closure.
The neighbouring Hollybrook Juniour School was open as normal.
As reported, this was the fourth Southampton school to close due to sickness, with Oasis Academy Mayfield, Redbridge Community School, and Regents Park School all shutting their doors during the past two weeks.
