FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze at a Southampton tower block.
Teams from St Mary's, Redbridge, Eastleigh, Botley, Southsea and Totton rushed to Castle House in Castle Way shortly after midnight last night.
Two people were treated for smoke inhalation but it is not known if they were taken to hospital.
A Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said crews were called to a chip pan fire at Castle House at 12.18am today.
He added that several appliances went to the scene because the fire was in a high-rise building.
The stop message came in at 1.09pm.
