POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an attempted burglary in Romsey.

Unknown people attempted to gain access to a property on Straight Mile, Romsey, between 1.10pm and 1.20pm on Wednesday, April 17.

They gained access by kicking at a door of the property, disturbing the homeowner and running off into their garden.

Nothing was stolen.

A Hampshire police spokesperson said: “Did you see this incident?

“Were you at home during the times stated?

“Did you hear anything suspicious?

“Who did you see in the area at the time?

“Did you see anyone leave the street quickly and suspiciously?"
