CHILDREN who spent Easter on hospital wards have had some smiles put on their faces.
Children's entertainer Nikki Stride delivered 157 Easter eggs, which had been donated to her, to Basingstoke hospital's children's ward on Wednesday last week.
Nikki, who runs NikNak Events and lives in Basingstoke, also took along other gifts to present to not just children on the ward but also their families and staff at the hospital, with her event's company's bunny mascot also coming along.
Nikki said: "The staff especially were over the moon."
Then, on Sunday, Nikki and the mascot went around Basingstoke and Southampton delivering Easter eggs and sweet treats to people who were spending the day working.
Nikki added: "We gifted eggs to Easter Sunday workers and over 100 sweet pots to the public who were out enjoying the sunshine."
