BROADLANDS festival is set to come back with a bang as organisers have announced the line up for this year's event.

Hundreds are people are set to attend The Broadlands County Show at the Broadlands Estate in Romsey over the bank holiday weekend on May 5 and 6.

The event will showcase a wide variety of acts suitable for the whole family.

This year's line up includes live performances from the Knights of Middle England who perform a stunts and contact jousting in an interactive showcase, a performance from the Joseph Peace Fire Show, stunts and obedience training with the Rockwood Dog Display Team, the brand new Stannage Stuntworld Motorcycle Team, plus a lumberjack display by the Dorset Axe Team.

Guests planning on attending the event can explore everything that is in store for the festival on its new website.

Operations Director of the show, Jerome Roberts said: "“We can’t wait to share with you our fantastic entertainment line up coming soon to this May’s Broadlands Country Show.

"In fact, this year we’ve brand new acts and features that will really shake up the Main Arena.

" From jousting with the Knights of Middle England, the spectacular fire show with Joseph Peace, or awesome stunts with Stannage International, there really is something on the bill for every age at Broadlands!

"Not only does Broadlands have an array of acts and features for the whole family, it also plays host to qualifying rounds in some fantastic sporting disciplines too.

"Not forgetting the many have-a-go activities, feature areas, such as the British Falconry & Raptor Fair, and hundreds of shopping opportunities, Broadlands really is a fantastic place for the whole family.

"With so much in store, we look forward to welcoming you all this May Bank Holiday!”

The British Falconry & Raptor Fair will also offer displays from some of the country's leading falconer's as well as a vast array of exhibition stands for guests wanting to find out more about birds of prey.

There will be demonstrations from the Mercer Falconry, South Wilts Falconry Display, Bull X, Female Falconers Club and Martin Whitley Dartmoor Hawking.

Dogs are welcome and there will also be free parking.
