A BASINGSTOKE law firm has pledged its loyalty to a cancer charity for a fifth year in a row.
Clarke & Son Solicitors, based in Winchester Road, has so far raised more than £65,000 for the Ark Cancer Centre Charity, and is looking to add an extra £15,000 this year.
Supporting Ark Day on Friday, 21 June will be just one of the many ways that the Clarke & Son team will be raising funds for, and awareness of, Ark’s £5million appeal which will help to fund a new NHS cancer treatment centre set to be based at Basingstoke hospital.
Darren Lovegrove, marketing manager at Clarke & Son, said: “We are going into our fifth year of supporting Ark Cancer Centre Charity, and we are not slowing down.”
As part of the 2019/20 fundraising efforts, the team from the law firm will be taking part in a colour obstacle run and charity runs, as well as staging a charity golf day on July 10 at Dummer Golf Club.
