FIREFIGHTERS attended a wildfire which spread across a wooded area near Hook.
Ten crews from Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey, including crews from Odiham, Basingstoke and Andover attended the incident in Hazeley Heath at 5.27pm yesterday (May 23).
Around 12 hectares of woodland and gorse were alight, and fire crews used six jets, compressed air foam systems and multiple beaters to extinguish the flames.
The fire was put out at around 2am, with several crews watching overnight, leaving the area at 7.14am this morning (May 24.)
