A ROMSEY hair salon that has been open for 18 years is set for a relaunch.

The Khaos Salon located in Church Street in Romsey is set to relaunch with a brand new name on July 19.

It will relaunch with the new name Aura Hair.

The news comes after the salon has recently had a full refurbishment.

Sarah Bennett, who has been the owner of the salon for the past two years said the salon was previously looking “tired” but now has a “modern contemporary look.”

When asked why she decided to rename the salon Aura hair Sarah said: “The word aura sums up our whole being.

“And if you feel good about your hair your aura feels good.

“I also chose the name as I am really interested in holistics.”

She added: “I am looking to maintain the high standards of hair dressing which is produced in the salon.

“Over the past two years this boutique salon has continue to be busy and I am always looking for additional staff to join the team.”

A resident said: “I went to have my hair cut and I noticed Sarah the owner had transformed the Salon stamping her own unique mark on the place.

“I was astounded how the beautiful make over had lifted the whole ambience of the salon, leaving it a great place for you to come for your hairdressing needs.”

The relaunch will take place on July 19 from 6pm until 8pm.

There will be prizes up for grabs as well as demonstrations, drinks and nibbles.

Sarah said that she hopes the relaunch will encourage “more people to come to the salon.”
