David Bowie
A ROMSEY school is preparing to hold a play on David Bowie on July 16.
The documentary play, called Can You Hear me Major Tom, is a one night performance at The Romsey School, Greatbridge Road.
Romsey School Community Youth Theatre have been working with playwright Mark Wheeller to recreate first-hand accounts of musicians, artists and fans who knew or admired David Bowie, as well as how they reacted to his death.
The evening will feature a short live set by David Live, whose story is included in the play. The evening promises to celebrate an “amazing rock idol”, according to Paul Ibbott, the musical director.
The play will start at 7.30pm, tickets are £5 and can be bought through www.eventbrite.co.uk.
