ROMSEY residents can still buy tickets for The Giggles in the Garden comedy event.

The event will take place on June 29 at Harold Hillier Gardens and will be hosted by Romsey based club, The House of Comedy.

Comic Simon Brodkin known for performing the popular comedy character Lee Nelson will take to the stage as well as Tanyalee Davis of Live at the Apollo, Craig Campbell of Russell Howards Good News, Geoff Norcott of Live at the Apollo and Mash Report, Orlando Baxter coming from Boston USA of Conan fame and the BBC, Ignacio Lopez of BBC sesh (Cardiff) and award winning circuit comedians Graham Wilkes along with local Elle Bert.

Luke Geddis from The House of Comedy said: “The House of Comedy approached Sir Harold Hillier Gardens to get their view some time back to the start of a comedy movement in Romsey on a festival type feel.

“The Gardens looked at the idea and between us we started drawing up plans to put Giggles together and here we are.

Luke added:“We are proud of our lineup, all of which had agreed virtually straight away to come and be part of something new in Romsey!”

Residents who want to attend the event can purchase tickets online or in person at Hillier Gardens in Jermyns Lane.

Gates open at 6:30pm and the show will begin at 7:30pm.

You must be over 16 to attend and under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.

The House of Comedy officially launched in the town in 2017 at The Plaza Theatre and the event is set to be the biggest of its kind in the market town.
