TEST VALLEY pupils took part in the launch of Valley Park in Bloom.
Students from Knightwood and St Francis Primary Schools took part in the launch at Knightwood Road.
Each of the 30 pupils that took part were given a plant from Choice Plants to take back to their school to help in enhancing their school grounds.
Councillor Alan Dowden said: "The children enjoyed themselves and it is good to them to take ownership of their local environment."
Valley Park in Bloom began 12 years ago and will take place until September.
There are 254 hanging baskets, 12 flower troughs and two flower barrels.
