CHILDREN from a Romsey school sailed to victory in the Southampton Water Activities Centre Hampshire Summer Regatta.
Pupils from Stroud School, Highwood House, successfully defended their title from last year, which saw a total of 26 boats compete in the competition.
Although there were a number of new members in the team this year, pupils still managed to pull together during the three races.
A spokesperson from Stroud School, said: “The team together showed pure resilience, collaboration and team work.
“Stroud School prides itself on its sailing, and last month, an outstanding performance from Stroud’s U13 sailing team earned them the U13 National Fleet Winners title at the Independent Association of Prep Schools National Sailing Regatta, held at Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy.”
