A TEENAGER has overturned a conviction for using a mobile phone whilst driving.
Paige Louise Tedder, 18, of Goldcrest Way, Four Marks, near Alresford, was convicted after a trial at Basingstoke Magistrates Court of the offence and fined £60, had six penalty points placed on her driving licence and ordered to pay £60 prosecution costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
But she appealed and both the conviction and the sentencing was overturned when the case appeared before a judge at Winchester Crown Court last Friday.
