AN INQUEST has opened into the death of man found in an area of Southampton woodland.
Winchester Coroner's Court heard the body of 35-year-old Christopher Ronan, of Anson Drive, Sholing, was discovered at Weston Greenway, in Botley Road, Hightown, on July 29.
As previously reported, ambulance and police were called to the scene at around 11am with police say the man's death was not being treated as suspicious.
In a report to the coroner, pathologist Dr Vipul Foria gave a preliminary cause of death of hanging.
Senior coroner Grahame Short adjourned the inquest to December 4.
