PILES of rubbish have been dumped behind a Southampton school.

Approximately five doors, one bath and a garden chair were discovered behind Sinclair Primary & Nursery School today.

Other items that have been abandoned include pieces of a fence, bin bags and a wardrobe door.

The rubbish is yards away from residents houses and is next to Lords Hill Way.

It is not known when the rubbish was dumped.

Hampshire police and Southampton City Council have been contacted for comment.

This comes after nine TVs, eight fridges and three washing machines were dumbed in a Hampshire walk way.

Piles of rubbish were left in Dairy Lane in Nursling blocking the path and covering the pavement in broken glass and plastic.

Fridges, TVs, washing machines, tyres and other bits of household rubbish were abandoned on the walk way which has been described as a "disgusting crime" by the local authority.
