A SOUTHAMPTON pensioner without a full driving licence was caught failing to display 'L' plates on his vehicle.
Malcolm Reginald Hoskins, 69, was not displaying the 'L' plates on his Volkswagen Golf while at Solent Business Centre on Millbrook Road West on March 15.
Hoskins was also without insurance or a valid MOT certificate.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, Hoskins pleaded guilty to driving without 'L' plates, driving without insurance and driving without a valid MOT certificate.
He was fined a total of £300.
Hoskins, of Shirley Avenue, Southampton, was also give six points on his licence and ordered to pay court of £20 and a victim surcharge of £30.
