POLICE are hunting thieves after a spate of burglaries in a Hampshire village.

Six burglaries were reported in Cranbourne Drive, Otterbourne.

In two cases, bikes were taken from two garages, but were recovered later.

Other garages had been entered but there were no signs that the door of forced entry.

According to police, the break-ins took place between midnight and 1am on Wednesday, September 11.

Officers are treating all incidents as being linked and are making enquiries.

A police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for information after a number of reports of break-ins at garages in Otterbourne.

"We would like to hear from anyone who has information about what happened who hasn’t yet spoken to us.

"Perhaps you saw people acting suspiciously in this area on that night? Or do you have any other information that could help our investigation?"
