Mark Edgerley, Romsey Town Centre Manager, said: "Such a great event for the town and we really do appreciate the visitors that came out in appalling conditions to explore the Antiques Fair, it is clear talking with traders that trade was brisk on the day with many reporting excellent sales.

Due to the popularity of these events, Romsey will be hosting a Christmas Brocante and Gift Market on the December 8 it will be over three sites The Cornmarket, Town Hall and the new piazza area in The Market Place.

It will offer antiques vintage and retro items and some handmade gift ideas for Christmas between 10am and 4pm.
