AN EXCITING live entertainment show will be the first of its kind to be held at Flip Out indoor trampoline park in Basingstoke, to raise money for this year’s Children in Need appeal.

The event is set to feature as part of the BBC’s televised coverage of the annual fundraising day on Friday, November 15.

As part of the entertainment, there will be various activities for children including face painting, competitions and a magician, before a live evening show including cheerleading, free running displays and music.

Those attending can bounce on the trampolines or enjoy a drink in the café whilst watching the show, with the park staying open late until 10pm.

Trudie Gregory, who works at Flip Out and has organised the fundraiser, said: “The mayor is coming and she will be greeted by a special guest. All the staff will be dressed up as their favourite character and we invite everyone else attending to do the same.”

“There will be cakes for sale to raise money and a really exciting show. Some of the lads who work here are professional free runners and they will be doing demonstrations.”

Live music which will be performed in the trampoline arena will include Basingstoke singer Morgan Kennedy and popular local band B Funkt, who will close the event.

“We’re really looking forward to it,” said Trudie, adding: “We wanted to do something for Children in Need and give something back and it’s also a good way to let people know Flip Out is here. It’s going to be brilliant and really different, having a bounce on the trampolines whilst enjoying live music.”

People can visit Flip Out in The Malls for free during the event to use the café and listen to the music, but normal fees will apply to use the trampolines.
