RESIDENTS of Test Valley have expressed their concern about a 'four week' water leak.

The water leak on Castle Lane, North Baddesley has been going on for 'four weeks' and is sending 'gallons' of water down the road.

There has also been worries that the water turned into black ice on cold mornings.

One concerned resident, Peter Rawlings from Romsey said: "The road is covered in water.

"The amount of water which is going down there must be gallons, it is such a waste.

"It is turning into black ice too."

Southern Water are planning on repairing the leak on November 19.

The 77-year-old added: "It is not really good enough is it."

Another resident, Carol Williams, from Rownhams said: "The water is pouring out and they have just put some cones around it.

"It has been going on for four weeks and I have never seen anyone there fixing it.

"The water is all over the road, it is filthy."

This comes as A spokesperson for Southern Water said: "The leaking water pipe in Castle Lane, North Baddesley SO52 is scheduled for repair on the 19th of November as long as we get permission to close the road.
