It's that time of year again, here are the seven Christmassy events taking place in Romsey this year.

The first event is the Romsey Christmas Light Switch On which will take place alongside the Winter Carnival Parade in the Town Centre.

The Christmas Tree is already erect in Romsey and lights have started to hang along the streets - they will be switched on on Saturday, November 23.

On Saturday, December 1 there will be the monthly Hampshire Farmers Market supplying all of your seasonally produced needs.

On Friday, December 6 there will be late night shopping and the lantern parade throughout the town centre.

The lantern parade will be swarmed with home-made designs as they encouraged residents to create their own lantern.

Saturday, December 7 will mark the return of Romsey Makers Market at The Town Hall.

If you are interested in gift shopping then make sure you do not miss the Christmas Brocante and Gift Market.

It is a special Christmas market to be held in Town Hall, the Cornmarket and the Hundred Plaza.

This will be a mix of collectables and vintage items together with craft-makers items whether for the home or for family and friends, making ideal Christmas presents.

Two weeks later, Sunday December 22 will mark the monthly Hampshire Farmers Market in the Town Centre with their Christmas edition.

Finally, on Monday, December 23 you will have to get your voices ready for Christmas Carols in Romsey Market Place.
