A TOWN camera club hosted their annual competition last week.
Members of Viewfinders of Romsey Camera Club submitted entries consisting of three prints to be judged as individual images and also as a set.
The "Great Spotted Woodpecker” was the winning entry by Margaret Cooper in the club's annual Print Panel Trophy competition.
Judge Jon Mitchell said: "The winning images were beautiful representations and that the panel was well done."
Peter Wood came second with "Polperro”, a set of images of the Cornish town which Jon described as “beautiful imagery” and he chose Julie Darby’s "Coast" for third place, saying that he loved its "subtlety and dreaminess".
Julie also received a Seal of Merit for another image and further seals were awarded to Stephen Cooper, Heath Gough-Holt, Terry Jamieson and Ian Whatmore.
The event was held on November 12 and Viewfinders meets most Tuesday evenings at the Jubilee Hall, New Road, Timsbury.
New members, regardless of photographic experience, are encouraged to join.
